I am a former Army Captain and infantry officer in the US Army. I graduated US Army Ranger School in 2009 and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 with the 101st Airborne Division as an infantry platoon leader. I led troops in pretty heavy combat during a year long tour of the War in Afghanistan's deadliest year (2010-2011).
I assisted with the Afghan Evac in the summer of 2021. I was able to fly my interpreter out of Afghanistan to a third nation (via civilian channels) in October 2021. I can speak on this issue too.
Since leaving the Army, I now hold a law degree and am a financial advisor/planner for a fee-only, fiduciary registered investment advisory firm in Ohio.
