Welcome!
My name is Patrick Eilers and I am a Master's level Clinician who's also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. I have been working in the field of psychology since 2016 in various roles both general and in specialist practices.
I have experience in therapy with diagnoses such as anxiety, depression and addiction. However I also have had the honor to support individuals, couples and groups in life events and relationships. I also had the opportunity to teach in the college undergraduate setting, both for Concordia University Ann Arbor and Jackson College. From 2020-2024 I worked as a specialist in sexual addiction recovery. During that period I received my certification as a Professional Life Coach from the AACC in 2023. Starting in 2025, I will embark into a new journey as a business owner of Bloomworks Concepts and Coaching stepping into the world of solo practitioner.
I am intrigued by the podcast platform in regards to enhancing knowledge and psycho-education in the field of psychology, therapy, and theology. I feel I would be a resource for those who are seeking a perspective from a therapist, as well as from someone who is credentialed in a field that continues to have a growing impact in our society.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association (APA), AACC Professional Life Coach Certification, Green Cross Member of Traumatology (GCAT), Michigan Counselors Association (MCA), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
