Jimi Okubanjo

I am a former management consultant, TEDx speaker, and filmmaker with a passion for helping others overcome workplace trauma and find joy in their careers.

With my background and expertise, I believe I could contribute valuable insights to your podcast. I have extensive experience working in corporate environments and have witnessed firsthand the challenges that women of color face in their careers and the toil it takes. Additionally, I recently released my film, Arise Firebird, which explores themes of resilience and empowerment in the face of adversity.

In addition to my professional experience and film, I also use humor and storytelling in my work to highlight the triumphs of everyday heroines. My upcoming TED talk, "Supporting Others with Workplace Trauma," features humor and will be available in the summer of 2023.

I would be honored to join your podcast as a guest speaker and share my experiences and perspectives on how to make the workplace a more equitable and enjoyable space for all. Along with discussing my film, Arise Firebird, I can also offer insights on how to break down barriers and achieve success in the workplace.
