I’m Jamie! Living my newfound life as a visually impaired best-selling author. My new book, Should’ve Seen That Coming: Navigating the In-Between Moments of Acceptance, Surrender, and Resilience, tells the story of the unexpected loss of my eyesight in 2021. I was thrust against my will into a journey of loss and confusion which quickly shaped into a journey toward my authentic and most spiritual self. I like to say I lost one vision, but gained another. My path has taken me from western medicine and teams of doctors throughout California, and deep into alternative modalities including eastern medicine and a LOT of energy work. My podcast co-host, Tara Ryan, and I explore much of what has come of these more spiritual themes and experiences in our podcast, Minor Mystics. I intended to speak on the strength I have derived in this spiritual pursuit to heal myself, as I fully believe I will heal from this vision loss.

I currently live my life trying to see through an energetic veil in my field of vision, but as I continue to push through this goo phase of my metamorphosis, I firmly believe that my butterfly stage awaits. As I flow toward this path of healing, I hope to share with others some of the insights and messages I have received that have helped me as I navigate these In-Between moments.
