The goal is to find out how to improve mental processes and thinking capability by better understanding how you think and developing tools and abilities to have a different perspective on life and solutions to problems. Other areas to look at are developing mental models to provide a framework of knowledge to use for solving problems. Understanding the various mental skillsets you can develop to improve thinking capability. Improving awareness fo your own mental processes to better assess situations due to knowing your own limitations.
