About Sylvia Live

EARLY BEGINNINGS

Born in the South West of Ireland, Sylvia A B Moran’s fascination with musical creativity sparked off at 7 years of age. Being a quiet child and not having great confidence, music became a very meaningful outlet of personal expression. Completing musical studies in her early 20’s, she tutored in various music schools where she observed many varying standards, some good and others not so good.

As a result of personal circumstances, she took a break from the musical world in 2004 and during this time deeply considered what she had explored in those years. Later she returned in 2008 on her own terms where she started implementing her newly developed methods of tutoring with great success. Sylvia has tutored well over 200 students to date. Her heart lies with supporting and encouraging novice and intermediate students who dream of performing with ease – their ‘Dream Musical Sound.’

In January of 2021 Sylvia began releasing her musical findings through a series of audio podcasts. In June of 2021 the Music Secrets Exposed Podcast, with the help of a small team, was redefined as an online location for the exposition of remarkable Musical Change-Makers by hosting weekly interviews every Friday along with Sylvia’s own content, released on most Mondays.

A NEW STEP

What was formerly recognized as the Music Secrets Exposed Podcast took a leap forward with a longterm view in mind in December 2022. With the help of the team at gsestudioweb.com Sylvia Live was born.

Sylvia Live is now a growing platform, not only focussed on musical topics. It is an expanding location for hosting fascinating conversations with those in the broader world of the arts, travel, our environment, health and wellbeing as well as exploring the written word in its many forms. To be honest, if there is a good conversation to be had that can serve to lift up an unheard of voice to inspire others, Sylvia Live is here to help make it happen no matter what that voice wishes to share.
