Sports Sunday is a LIVE sports commentary show that airs after the 9:00AM News Report every Sunday morning on WOK!W 102.9FM in Curwensville, PA. We've been on the air since 2005 (18 years)and focus primarily on local central Pennsylvania high school sports, local college sports (Penn State / Pitt) and professional sports (Pittsburgh / Philadelphia). However, sports of all types (men's & women's) as well as unconventional sports (hunting & fishing / horse & harness racing / dog sledding / survival-reality TV) are discussed.
Hosts Dave Marino and Bear Stewart are longtime local sports journalists, broadcasters and commentators. Bear & Dave provide no-nonsense perspectives on all sports. Producer / Engineer / Fill-In Guest Host Jim Strickland has been an on-air personality, broadcast engineer and producer since 1992 (32 years).
