Morley Radio

Morley Radio is a community radio station and podcast production hub based at Morley College London, creating space for diverse voices, ideas, music, stories and conversations.

We are looking to connect with interesting people who have something meaningful, creative, inspiring or entertaining to share with our listeners. Our programmes cover a broad range of music, arts, culture, education, community stories and creative projects, so we welcome a wide variety of potential guests.

We are particularly interested in hearing from:

• Musicians, singers, bands and emerging artists

• Authors, writers, poets and storytellers

• Artists, filmmakers and other creative practitioners

• Educators, tutors and people working in lifelong learning

• Community leaders and local organisations

• People working on interesting cultural or social projects

• Entrepreneurs and creative professionals

• Festival, event and exhibition organisers

• Podcasters, broadcasters and media professionals

• People with unusual stories, expertise or perspectives to share

Morley Radio already features a diverse range of programmes, from jazz, soul, folk, country and global music to conversations about the local community, creativity, education and culture.

What can guests expect?

We aim to create relaxed, engaging conversations rather than formal interviews. Depending on the programme, guests may be invited to discuss their work, tell their story, share their expertise, talk about an upcoming project or event, or introduce listeners to their music and creative work.

We are particularly interested in discovering new voices and emerging talent, while also welcoming established people with interesting stories and perspectives.
