Monocle Radio

Monocle Radio brings thoughtful conversations with authors, researchers, innovators, and creative thinkers whose work offers fresh perspectives on the world around us.

We are interested in meaningful conversations that go beyond straightforward promotion. Our interviews explore the ideas behind a book or project, the experiences and questions that shaped it, the challenges encountered along the way, and the wider issues that the work invites audiences to consider.

We welcome authors across fiction and nonfiction, including literature, history, culture, business, science, technology, society, memoir, personal development, and other areas of expertise.

Guests can discuss the book, project, or area of work that is most relevant to them. Our conversations are designed to be engaging, insightful, and accessible, giving guests an opportunity to share their perspective, expertise, creative process, and the ideas they hope readers and listeners will take away.

We are particularly interested in guests with distinctive stories, original ideas, specialist knowledge, or work that can spark thoughtful discussion. Interviews are recorded remotely in a professional broadcast format and are designed to create an engaging conversation for an international audience.
