About

BookTalk Central is a conversation-driven show featured on The Book Stage, dedicated to exploring the stories, ideas, research, and experiences behind meaningful books.

Hosted by Barley James, the show welcomes authors, academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, journalists, and subject-matter experts for thoughtful conversations about their work and the ideas they want to share with a wider audience.

Our interviews go beyond a book's basic summary to explore the author's inspiration, key insights, professional journey, and the real-world relevance of their work. We aim to give every guest an opportunity to communicate their ideas clearly, connect with readers and listeners, and help audiences discover books worth exploring.

Interviews are pre-recorded and conducted remotely, with preparation and discussion topics arranged in advance. Featured conversations can include an author and book profile on The Book Stage, with episodes distributed through available podcast platforms.

We welcome guests with distinctive perspectives and valuable knowledge across literature, faith, business, education, science, agriculture, environmental sustainability, history, and other fields.

If you have published a book, conducted meaningful research, or developed ideas that deserve a deeper conversation, we would be pleased to explore a potential collaboration.

Please note: Featured interviews involve a $220 production contribution covering recording coordination, preparation, post-production, publishing, hosting, and distribution.
