“Harvard-trained Cardiac Electrophysiologist & Founder of Fight AFib | Making AFib, ablation and stroke prevention easy to understand”

Interests

About Me

I’m a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist, Harvard-trained at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and founder of Fight AFib, an education platform helping patients understand atrial fibrillation, stroke prevention, medications, ablation, and lifestyle risk factors. I practice at Northside Hospital Heart Institute in Georgia, with a clinical focus on AFib ablation, pulsed field ablation, and left atrial appendage closure. I’m a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society, hold an MBA in healthcare, and have authored more than 30 scientific publications.

Since beginning regular YouTube publishing in April 2026, Fight AFib has grown to more than 18,700 subscribers and 2.4 million views, demonstrating the demand for clear, evidence-based heart rhythm education.

As a guest, I translate complex medical research into practical, engaging conversations people can actually understand and use. I enjoy discussing why AFib is becoming more common, how patients can reduce stroke and recurrence risk, medications, lifestyle interventions, and rapidly evolving technologies such as pulsed field ablation and WATCHMAN. My goal is to make sophisticated cardiology accessible without oversimplifying the science.
