“I am 18 years old, own a 4-plex, sold a business I started when I was 16, and now have my own investment company called West Rock Equity.”
I have only a small track record since I am so young, so I have to be creative when raising capital for multifamily sponsors. I believe my story will impact and motivate other like-minded young people that want to break into the real estate game at such a young age.
When talking with investors, I had a hard time getting them to believe what I was doing was legit because I'm so young. This meant overcoming rejection hundreds of times.
Besides being a real estate investor, I am also a competitive golfer and play in national events. This led me to get noticed by D1 college coaches, but I ultimately chose to go to a smaller school called Indiana Wesleyan.
