Veronica Marie is a poet and writer. She has a passion for literature and other creative arts. Her biggest muse is Wonder Woman. Veronica Marie enjoys the world of storytelling and poetry. At a very young age she wasn’t so privileged because she was illiterate for a time. She eventually learned to read and write at the age of nine! Since then the muses commanded her. The world became her place where she could sit and read.
In high school, Veronica Marie became immersed into the world of literature when she realized that she enjoyed writing her first comparison essay! In this essay she compared the book series Gossip Girl to the television series. She of course aced that essay with an ‘A’! Later in her high school years she discovered the works of Emily Dickinson. She became interested in poetry and wrote her first poem titled Roller Coaster. The poem wasn’t her best, but it was the start of a new era of poetry writing.
When it was time for college, Veronica Marie knew she wanted to be a writer! She wasn’t sure where to begin, but her time was coming soon. Now, she needed to learn patience. When Veronica Marie became an author and poet, it didn’t happen overnight! She realized that she needed to focus more on her craft to become better! When the time came, she realized some things. First, being an author wasn’t enough to get by alone. She needed a job. Second, an author’s job is to focus on your audience target. Since that was poetry, she needed to focus on aspiring poets and poetry fans. When she realized these things, everything became clear.
After landing a job as a home attendant for her mother, Veronica Marie wrote more poetry to strengthen her literary skills. She eventually became a poet releasing ‘Loss, Love, Hope and Strength’ in April 2022, which later was revised under a new title ‘Strength In Emotions’ in 2025. Inspired by her many author friends, she launched Veronica Marie Books, a website where you can find her short stories! Veronica Marie Books eventually became a brand for her books!
Veronica Marie currently resides in Brooklyn, New York where she lives with her family and her cat Carrots!
