“Our brand is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Palestinian fashion while infusing it with a modern twist.”
"A vision that knows no death. A love that has no end." -Fadwa Tuqan
We are grandchildren of the diaspora, and we see Palestine everywhere. Our families are indigenous to many areas across Palestine and after decades of displacement, they found their way to safety across five continents. We were born all around the world acutely aware of our history and thankful for the Palestinian blood flowing through our veins, and we commit every day to appreciating and sharing our rich and beautiful Palestinian culture with the world.
Our family fled looking for safety and a better life away from brutal occupation. Forced to build our lives scattered around the world, our spirits continue to hold on to Palestine. Our connection with our land and culture is foundational, and as we watch the occupation continuously escalate, encouraged by world powers, we hold our people’s resilience close.
As three sisters scattered around the world, we needed to find a way to bridge our individual interests with our shared desire to connect with Palestine. From those intentions, UrbanPal was born. We are dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Palestinian culture, embracing tradition with a modern twist, and sharing our beautiful Palestine with you.
We are here for Palestine and her people
We always dreamt of connecting with our communities in Palestine directly, this collective helps us not only do that, but also connect you with Palestine, whoever you are and wherever you live on this beautiful earth.
If you are interested in getting involved, our collective is always looking for more ways to support Palestinian artisans and communities. We work with a growing community of refugee seamstresses to custom-make and re-love clothes, and we welcome any nominations or requests to become part of our refugee seamstress community. Email us at [email protected] to get started.
We would love to elevate any Palestinian and refugee artists or voices. If you’re interested in contributing to our blog or our collections with your artwork, email us at [email protected] with your attached submission.
