Troy Dunn

Troy is known to millions around the world as simply, ‘The Locator’ thanks in large part to his numerous hit TV shows and hundreds of international media appearances.

Troy has starred in three hit tv series, “Last Hope, With Troy Dunn” on UP tv, “APB With Troy Dunn” on TNT and “The Locator” on WE TV, which is currently being seen in over 30 countries around the world! It is estimated that over 1 billion people have witnessed Troy’s television work! 

Troy has been interviewed by Oprah and Barbara Walters, has made over 300 appearances on Fox News, CNN, CNBC, The Today Show, Good Morning America, 48 Hours and Dr. Phil just to name a very few.

Prior to shifting full time into the national media, Troy founded a start-up company dedicated to reuniting long lost loved ones. Troy served as CEO for 13 years, growing the business from a spare bedroom to an international organization that was eventually acquired by Ancestry.com.

Dunn has authored several best-selling books including “Young Bucks; How To Raise A Future Millionaire”, “It’s Never Too Late; Life Lessons From The Locator’ and his most recent best-seller, “Family: The GOOD F Word”- Written with Dr Phil.

Additionally, he has co-authored numerous leadership development curriculums including “The Success Formula”, “Maximizing Human Performance” and “The Power of Unconventional Leadership”.

Troy has been married to his high school sweetheart (met her at the lunch table!) for 31 years and they are the proud parents of 8 children; six sons, two daughters. Age range 29 to 7. And now two grandchildren!
