I'm a science communicator and content strategist passionate about helping people understand complex ideas without oversimplifying the science. My work is built around translating technical topics into conversations that are engaging, memorable, and genuinely useful.
My path here wasn't straightforward. I earned a master's degree planning to teach at the college level before my career took an unexpected turn into digital marketing and science communication. Looking back, I realized I'd always been drawn to the same question: Why do some ideas click while others don't?
Today, my work focuses on water quality and filtration, but what really fascinates me is how people make sense of the world. I love exploring storytelling, communication, how people learn, and why misconceptions often reveal the mental models we use to understand new information.
Over the past several years, I've created hundreds of educational videos, written articles, spoken directly with consumers, and taught at the college level. Every question or misconception is an opportunity to better understand how people think and to communicate more effectively.
