“Jackie Chan co-star in Thunderbolt | Actor, martial artist & 60+ strength advocate sharing real stories from film and life, health & faith”
I’m Thorsten Nickel, an actor, martial artist, fitness and longevity enthusiast, a person of faith, best known for playing the lead villain opposite Jackie Chan in Thunderbolt. Working in Hong Kong on that film was a life-changing experience and gave me a unique perspective on action filmmaking and what happens behind the scenes.
My film career also includes supporting roles in My Father the Hero with Jet Li, Techno Warrior in the Philippines, being the co star opposite David Bradley (American Ninja) in Crisis and being one of five characters in Jackie Chan’s Fist of Fire video game. I was also featured on the cover of Inside Karate magazine with a seven-page article.
Now 60, I share my movie experiences alongside martial arts, isometric strength, longevity and life after 60 through my “60 & Strong” content. I’m also writing my autobiography about my journey from dreaming of being in movies to Thunderbolt.
I’m available for podcasts and interviews covering film, martial arts, fitness, longevity, faith, and life experience.
