Theresa Mitchell is a native of Queens, New York who currently resides in South Carolina. I am the founder of Jhene Productions, a film and entertainment production company. My story is but one of many women’s stories. I had three miscarriages before finally having my rainbow baby. After having those losses I was silent. Now I have the voice to start the conversation about my experience, and share how I am healing. What inspired me to start opening up about my loss was realizing the fact that there are so many women like me that lose their babies. Just knowing I am not alone in this is comforting, and I want to share my story with other women so that they can gain the same comfort that I have. So please come take this journey with me to unpack the racial inequities in our health care system.
