Scot Cohen is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Wrap Technologies (NASDAQ: WRAP), a global public safety and defense technology company focused on non-lethal response systems and training used by law enforcement agencies in more than 60 countries. He is a Wall Street–trained entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in capital markets, hedge fund management, and structured finance.
Before founding Wrap, he co-founded Iroquois Capital, a New York-based hedge fund that grew to approximately $300M in assets under management, and built a merchant banking practice investing across public and private markets. Over his career, he has structured hundreds of transactions spanning early-stage ventures to multi-billion-dollar public companies.
In 2016, he founded Wrap Technologies after being inspired by his family’s service in public safety. Today, he leads the company’s mission to replace force with science by developing non-lethal tools, VR-based training systems, and federal defense solutions. Under his leadership, Wrap has raised over $90M in capital and scaled globally across 1,000+ agencies.
He is also deeply involved in mental health advocacy for law enforcement and government personnel through philanthropic initiatives.
Based in Miami, Florida, he balances his work in public markets, defense innovation, and mission-driven public safety reform.
