“I am always collaborating with my bountiful energy! My love affair with public relations and the media is a way of life with me.”
Sara Andrew, Managing Director, Publicist & Media Coach of Inspire PR Media has always been a person that liked engaging and interacting with people. Her working life started at 17, and even then it was apparent that she was a fluent orator, perfectly content in front of the camera. The comfort of performing to an audience came from being on stage whether that was dancing, gymnastics, singing or acting; it's safe to say that she enjoys the attention.
Even before she was involved in public relations professional, she knew the value of promotion and gaining exposure. She used this knowledge to significant effect when she was involved with a volunteer organisation in Mount Gambier, South Australia. A coordinator got her involved with their charitable projects, and it didn't take long before she got in front of the camera for the local TV news. Her presence on screen soon led to more media attention, and the newspapers came calling. This brought about greater exposure and time in the media spotlight, her life in PR had begun.
For Sara, it's not just about getting in front of a camera, it is so much more. It is about strategies, campaigns, social media, engagement, and storytelling. She becomes excited listening to clients' stories; where they were, where they are, and especially where they may want to go next.
Sara has worked with clients ranging from big businesses to individual entrepreneurs and inspirational artists at the cutting edge like Alen Kasumovic and Trish Jackson. Whether the task is getting a new product to market, showcasing the latest technological innovation, or even launching a new book or art exhibition, Sara knows that each client has something special about them, and often the common theme is an openness to share their positive, inspirational messages with the world. This is where Sara excels, she knows that PR is about connecting stories, people, and products, and she gets enthused when making these connections.
Sara has worked successfully with some amazing artists with awe-inspiring stories. One such artist was Trish Jackson. Sara produced an uplifting short documentary that highlighted Trish’s message of hope and showcased her phenomenal art.
Sara Andrew talks with the confidence and assurance that you would expect from a successful businesswoman. What singles her out is that she cares about the messages that she is charged with promoting. She is invested in the individual journeys of the unique and creative clients she represents; the rapport she develops is evident.
