After many years within these bigger organisations, I realised that I wasn’t making the impact that I craved. I became sick of the corporate games & the work life imbalance. I felt tired, drained & even in the smaller firms, the need to continually fire fight was exhausting.

In late 2018, I made the decision that it was time to take back control & work on my own terms. I became a Corporate Escapee. I chose to turn my back on being an employee to pursue my passion and achieve better work life balance.

Scale ups & small/ medium businesses are so important to the economy and yet they receive so little quality advice & support. It was time to step up & change that!

That’s why Palgrave Consulting & The Business Troubleshooter were set up.

✅ MY EXPERTISE: For over 10 years, I’ve run a growing food business with my wife & have worked with many entrepreneurs helping them grow their business.

I’ve run a Fintech start-up for over 6 years & know all about the roller coaster that a business owner is on from week to week. At times, it was emotionally draining & distracting me from my strategic goals until I worked out how to control them.

✅ MY JOURNEY: I believe passionately in the power within each and everyone of us. We all are conditioned by society to do certain things and accept the pre-ordained path of school, university, job 1, job 2, marriage, job 3, kids, job 4, retirement.... etc - the actual order is irrelevant but how many of us actually question our day to day?

I discovered over 5 years ago, that I wasn't being the best version that I could be and through working with coaches and other experts, have identified what was holding me back, have released that to the universe and started to work on myself from within. This starts with meditation, and well being. Restoring the balance that in an overwise hectic life is overlooked.

It's my desire to pass on these insights, to help people find out more about their true potential, to take back control of their lives and of their mental health.

People are scared to be vulnerable, to be authentic and yet this is holding them back from achieving what they really want to become. Men in particular are notoriously bad at seeking help and guidance and so my hope is that by putting myself out there, I can inspire and move people forward. Imagine, a former engineer and investment banker - talking about mindset, meditation and motivation!
