“Robert Collin -award-winning author, attorney, planner, educator, and environmental expert specializing in climate adaptation, and advocacy.”
Robert W. Collin is an award-winning author, attorney, urban planner, educator, and environmental policy expert whose career has bridged scholarship, public service, and community advocacy. He has taught at universities in the United States and internationally and served for eleven years on Oregon’s Environmental Justice Task Force. His work focuses on climate adaptation, environmental justice, sustainability, public policy, legislative advocacy, and how communities can move beyond resilience toward flourishing.
Robert is the author and co-author of numerous books, including a recent climate trilogy examining climate education, adaptation, and the growing divide over who benefits from environmental protection. He brings an unusual perspective shaped not only by law and academia but also by earlier work in construction, agriculture, and the service sector.
As a podcast guest, Robert can discuss climate and environmental policy in accessible terms—and candidly share the learning curve behind independent publishing, book marketing, awards, publicity, and getting serious nonfiction noticed in a crowded marketplace.
