Rob Vickerman is a man who understands performance. An ex-International Rugby Captain over a 12 years career, including noted highlights of Captaining England Sevens at 17 global tournaments and in over 75 matches including the Rugby World Cup Sevens Final in 2013, England’s first World Cup Sevens Final in 20 years.
Rob also obtained First Class Honours in Leadership and Management, numerous qualifications in nutrition and coaching and has studied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at post-graduate level. Now an Olympic, Commonwealth and International Commentator, he also runs the successful business coaching company Workathlete, offering priceless advice to multi-national PLC’s and their office workers around the country and beyond.
Corporately, Rob spent time wisely whilst playing internationally and domestically; connecting, networking and learning from business leaders in all types of markets. An extensive tour of the UK within these created networks, led to a captivating 24 months of observing leading organsiations and executives. This was advanced by combining these ‘working observations’ with accessing Olympic preparation of sports teams through a privileged position as a commentator and ex-athlete. He absolutely practices what he preaches with energy management, juggling a working life with staying super-fit and being a husband to a successful and ambitious Wife and Managing Director, and importantly being a father of two hugely fun children.
