Rich Edwards is the CEO of Mindspan Systems, helping community financial institutions transform themselves with data-driven strategies and technologies. His area of expertise is the convergence of analytics, marketing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for financial institutions.

 Rich has worked extensively with banking, insurance, and financial services clients worldwide during his career. He has led product strategy in data center automation and artificial intelligence, including the launch of IBM Watson Developer Cloud.

He’s spoken to audiences in the US and Europe including the Business of Software Conference, Tech Breakfast, and Duke University to name a few.

 Rich has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as an engineering officer in the US Army. He and his family currently reside in Raleigh, NC.
