Rhys Shaw

In addition to being an author, I am an actor. This means my stories are character driven and that is where each one begins for me, as I create the books in the series. I have done my own narration of book one, soon to narrate books two and three. I'm currently writing book four, which will be the final in the series.

I enjoy drawing the parallels of how women were once treated, and in many cases, still are. My books feature countries in turmoil with each other, human trafficking, non-gender conforming people, amongst other topics which are topical today. Amidst all this, there is always hope and that is important to both me and my characters. They have strong wills for survival, as do I.

I am not afraid to have popular characters die, if it makes sense, and readers have thanked me for it.
