“Author of Leading While Human | TEDx Speaker | CHRO on Authentic Leadership, Culture, and Mental Health”
I’m Ralph Kellogg, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, a Chief Human Resources Officer, TEDx speaker, and author of Leading While Human – Notes I Wish Someone Had Given Me. My work sits at the intersection of leadership, workplace culture, emotional honesty, and accountability.
Throughout my career in executive leadership and human resources, I’ve helped organizations navigate complex people challenges while building cultures rooted in trust, inclusion, and performance. My perspective is shaped not only by professional experience, but also by personal lived experience — including navigating mental health challenges and concealing aspects of my identity as a member of the LGBTQ+ community for much of my career.
I believe leadership is not about pretending to have all the answers. It is about showing up with honesty, resilience, humanity, and courage. Through speaking, writing, and podcast conversations, I help leaders rethink outdated models of leadership and embrace a more human-centered approach that drives both connection and results.
I’m especially excited to join conversations around authentic leadership, workplace culture, inclusion, mental health at work, emotional resilience, and what it really means to lead while human.
