About Me

Priscilla is a Senior level accredited Coach, Positive Psychologist and CBT Practitioner. Her expertise lies in helping others to Master their Mindset, working alongside individuals to dispel the negative beliefs, behaviours and performance-inhibiting thoughts which hold them back from flourishing across different areas of their lives.

 “Whatever it is you seek to achieve, whether it is in your personal or professional life, the first step is always to Master your Mindset. This is because the negative beliefs we hold about ourselves, our capabilities, and our potential are the first stumbling blocks that can derail us from either getting started or giving up when things get tough.”

Through a combination of scientifically grounded techniques from the study of Positive Psychology, CBT, NLP and her own personalised coaching framework, Priscilla helps her clients grow their coping toolbox and empower themselves, subsequently elevating their confidence and self-efficacy.

 The eldest daughter of a Spanish mother and Lebanese father, Priscilla was born in Gran Canaria. She spent her early years in Sierra Leone and Lebanon before fleeing the war in 1992 and settling in the UK. Priscilla is well-versed in the languages and cultures of her upbringing and has a deep understanding of different cultural traditions and how they may shape individual experience, beliefs and unconscious biases. 

 Prior to becoming a coach Priscilla spent 7 years within the Metropolitan police. First, as a response officer and later as a Detective within the child abuse and sexual exploitation unit. Her career within the police force gave her first-hand experience of working in a high stress, high risk environment with tight deadlines and a substantial workload.

 “I believe psychology and investigation are not so far removed from one another; both require the ability to delve deep, ask the right questions, follow the clues, and see the bigger picture in order to find your way out of the woods.”

Becoming a mother was a huge turning point for Priscilla as the tug of a demanding career competed tirelessly with raising a family. This internal conflict which manifested in stress and anxiety eventually led to her defining her own version of success and embarking on her current career as a Positive Psychology Coach. Her thesis research, entitled An exploration into the multiple roles of women and their effects on wellbeing, was dedicated to better understanding this plight and uncovered 7 central elements which collectively contribute to increasing women’s wellbeing whilst managing their multiple roles.

 Priscilla is the founder of Plan Be Coaching and lives in West London with her husband, two daughters and their family cockapoo. She is available to contribute expert knowledge, tips, and written articles on the subject of mastering your mindset as well as Positive Psychology coaching, managing negative thoughts, dealing with worry, developing a positive mindset, increasing confidence and assertiveness, positive goal setting, imposter syndrome, reframing failure and increasing overall wellbeing.
