About Me

AI doesn't transform companies. People do. I lead the people.

I run engineering teams at one of the world's largest banks, where humans and AI agents ship software together every day. It's the kind of place where one rogue agent could cause an actual regulatory incident, so I've learned things about AI the hard way while everyone else was writing hot takes.

I can tell you why AI pilots die in committee, how adoption actually spreads through a team (spoiler: it has never once been the mandatory training), and what banks figured out about model risk years before ChatGPT made it cool.

In a past life I signed a record deal with Warner Music and wrote a self-help book, so I promise not to talk like an engineer. As a gay leader in a very corporate industry, I build teams where nobody has to leave part of themselves at the door - it's also just better engineering. Beyond that, I take my team hiking instead of happy hour and genuinely believe protein bars are a leadership tool.

On paper: MS in Computer Science, MBA. Ask me about AI strategy, agentic workflows, governance, or how to make engineers actually enjoy any of this.

My last talk, "The Dopamine Crisis of AI Coding," started arguments that outlived the event - in a good way. I show up with numbers hosts can quote, stories audiences retell, and zero corporate filler.

What your listeners walk away with: how to tell real AI progress from AI theater, one framework they can use at work on Monday, and permission to be honest about what AI is actually doing to their jobs. Sound like your show? Message me - I make booking easy.
