Welcome!
My name is Patrick Eilers and I am a Master's level Clinician who's also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. I have been working in the field of psychology since 2016 and as a specialist in the field of sexual addiction since 2020.
I have experience working with the general population of diagnoses such as anxiety and depression. As well as experience teaching in the college undergraduate setting, both for Concordia University Ann Arbor and Jackson College. In 2020, I started working for NorthPoint Professional Counseling one of Michigan's largest outpatient resources in sexual addiction.
I am intrigued by the podcast platform in regards to spreading knowledge and psycho-education regarding the field of psychology, therapy, and theology. I feel I would be a resource for those who are seeking a perspective from a therapist, as well as from someone who is credentialed in the field of a growing impact in our society.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association (APA), AACC Professional Life Coach Certification, Green Cross Member of Traumatology (GCAT), I have training in Gottman Level 1, Michigan Counselors Association (MCA), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
