“Neuroinclusion & Wellbeing Expert | Founder & Podcast Host | Redesigning how we work, feel, create and belong.”
I’m Nika Brunet Milunovic, founder of Calm Nest Collective, host of The Pink Nest Podcast, wellbeing advocate, and inclusive design and sustainability specialist. I help organisations, events, and workplaces create calmer, safer, and more human environments by integrating neuro-inclusion, sensory wellbeing, trauma-aware design, and mental health support into the core of how experiences are planned.
My path has never been linear. With 11+ years in the international events and music industry, I’ve seen the backstage side of high-pressure environments: long hours, overstimulation, burnout cycles, and the emotional toll on crews and organisers. Alongside that lived experience, I built a career in corporate programme management, combining operational structure with human-centred thinking. My academic foundation in social work, followed by years of work in sustainability, gives my perspective a grounding in care, ethics, and systemic change.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of wellbeing, inclusion, design, psychology, and lived experience. Through Calm Nest Collective, I design and deliver sensory-friendly, neuro-inclusive “Calm Nest Spaces®” at events, festivals, conferences, and workplaces across Europe and East Africa. These spaces support emotional regulation, reduce overwhelm, and create psychological safety, not just for neurodivergent attendees but for everyone who needs a moment to breathe.
I’m also a PhD researcher, exploring mental wellbeing and neurodiversity among event professionals. This research allows me to blend academic insight with real-world application, turning evidence into practical solutions that improve how people work, create, and connect in high-demand industries.
As a podcast host and speaker, I show up with honesty, vulnerability, and emotional depth. I speak openly about burnout and recovery, navigating neurodivergence, moving between countries, reinventing identity, building a purpose-led company, and the complex emotional landscape of the creative industries. My storytelling style is warm, grounded, reflective, and deeply human, and it resonates with audiences who are tired of polished narratives and crave conversations that feel real.
Across all my work, one thread stays constant: I’m passionate about creating spaces, physical, emotional, conversational, where people can show up as themselves. Not the filtered version. Not the high-functioning mask. But the human beneath the noise.
If you’re looking for a guest who can bridge heart, humour, research, design, wellbeing, and lived experience, and offer both strategic insight and emotional truth, I would love to join your conversation. I believe deeply in the power of storytelling to heal, connect, and spark change, and I show up with that intention every time.
