“Because I am well spoken and passionate about my field, I have a gift of taking a complex subject and simplifying it.”
I'm Nicky and I'm on a mission to raise awareness around female autism. The majority of autism research has been carried out on males as females present so differently to males a lot of females go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed and I am on a mission to bridge that gap, it took me 34 years to realise I am on the spectrum and that knowledge has been a total game changer for me and has allowed me to take my personal development to a whole new level.
I have been on a journey of self discovery and personal development for the past decade, I have overcome the loss of my father to suicide, trauma in my childhood and relationships as an adult, I woke up when I was attuned to reiki energy and my spiritual journey started to play a part in my personal development and growth, I love to work on mind, body and spirit in my coaching and therapy when appropriate.
When I am committed to a cause I apply myself fully I've cycled the length of the UK and have recently got back on the bike which is liberating, I'm also a total nature baby and feel ungrounded and off balance if I don't get into nature regularly which is easy now I have a boarder collie.
