About Me

HELLO! Call me Nat. I love speaking about my favorite subjects. Let's talk about origin stories and alt-life narratives, concepts like destiny and fate, astrology, religion, economic paradigms and laws, ethics and morality, bodies and boundaries, gender, sexuality, fairness, freedom, faith and family (ALL up for lively debate and fresh definition). With my treasure trove of true stories, I bring clarity and compassion to cultural conversations of all kinds.

A sage astrologer recently told me I am a paradigm shatterer, meant to break apart the status quo. I am running in that direction.

I intend to help bring forward a new vocabulary, an ethical language for speaking about systems change across differences, and I think conversation is necessary and important to culturally evolve.

LET’S JOIN UP so we can move forward in new ways, as innovators of human experience living in a global ecosystem that benefits the many instead of the few. I intend to leverage my deep experience with transformation, coaching and culture to advance conversations around ideology, identity and innovation.

You might ask me about:

  • Electing to be ex-communicated at age 22: My name was officially "removed from the records" of the Mormon church (aka Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or LDS) shortly after graduating from the University of Utah (by way of BYU). I was not okay with being associated with an organization I believe is doing more harm than good in the world. I rewired my mind and my heart across my 20s.
  • Coming out in my 30s: I read all the 'save your marriage' books at Powell's to no avail. It's hilarious and sad to think how naïve I was about my body and about what it means to be gay. My whole life had been so deeply rooted in gender roles and misogyny. I had to truly conquer my own homophobia and reinvent myself.
  • Becoming disabled: I've learned how ableism is all around us--how we organize our spaces and systems of value around exploiting bodies and breaking backs and how we can change our organizing and design principles to be safe, inclusive, and better for everyone.
  • What's my philosophy? I'm obsessed with the boundaries and intersections of existential concepts, and I have a unique understanding of values, beliefs and behaviors. I don't subscribe to most mainstream assumptions that inform societal and social constructs. My values system is my own and I am excited about sharing it with you.
  • What are my dreams? I'd like to co-create new paradigms for living in harmony with nature and technology. I want to publish my memoir/poems and children's book and talk about my creative and healing processes.
