I made my first million in ecommerce as a guy who never wanted to show his face and just wanted to build behind a screen. Then I got into real estate and did almost every version of it: wholesaling, fix-and-flips, rentals, creative finance, lending, and short-term rentals.

Some of it made a lot of money. Some of it lost a lot of money. I have had deals die at the finish line, partnerships blow up, and "great" cash flow properties turn into headaches once taxes, insurance, and regulations moved on me. I am not interested in the highlight reel version of any of it, because the real lessons are in the deals that went wrong.

What I figured out along the way is that I am a systems and automation guy at heart. I have always been the integrator, the person who builds the machine behind the business. So I stopped hiding, became the face of my brand, and founded BILT, an AI software company now used by 400+ people, built to run the outbound, follow-up, and busywork of real estate and marketing on autopilot.

I make a great guest because I talk straight about wins and losses, I bring real numbers instead of theory, and I can go deep in a few different lanes: scaling an ecommerce business, the honest reality of real estate investing, using AI to automate sales and follow-up, and building software as a non-technical founder.
