About Me

As a 42-year survivor of anorexia, I know the complexities of this illness and how dangerous and life-threatening it can be for people of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities. Anorexia does not discriminate. I compare anorexia circa 1981 (when I had it) to today. What has changed, and what has stayed the same? The good news is that I'm an example of permanent recovery. My message is that it is possible to not only survive but enjoy a fulfilling, happy, healthy life after anorexia.
