“I quit my job at a solar installer to tell homeowners the truth. Before or after getting solar I am the 100% independent voice of truth!”

About Me

I recently quit my job at a solar installer to tell homeowners the truth. The installer I worked at was great, the people were ethical, the work was good, but they still sold solar. I had to leave to be able to talk 100% independently.

Solar is a great investment when done correctly, however, it is not as simple as most homeowners think. There are so many hidden fee's, vague contract clauses, and glossed over production promises that I saw a need for an independent expert to be the defensive line for homeowners.

I have a 25+ year career in IT, I was a STEM teacher for 5 years, and I worked in solar for the last 4 years in sales, design, financing, commissioning, service and as Technical Director. My skill has always been making complicated things easy to understand. (Don't take my word for it. Years ago, when my daughter was about 9, I explained the basics of how a computer works and she said "Wow dad, you are really good at explaining things!")

I am here to help people get the right system before they go solar and I am here to audit existing solar installs to make sure they are doing what the sale person promised in their slick offer.
