“Mental Health professional & Memoirist Speaking on abused marriage, Immigration, Self-loss, Healing & Reinvention”
I’m a memoir author with a life shaped by survival, reinvention, and three major rebirths. My story spans growing up in China, surviving a near-death medical crisis, an extremely abusive marriage, immigrating to Canada, navigating love and divorce, and ultimately rebuilding emotional and financial independence as a single mother.
I had a great career as a TV producer and creative director, with two degrees, including an MBA in China, but after immigrating to Canada, I had to start over professionally. I retrained and built a new career as a registered nurse and mental health professional.
Through my memoir and storytelling, I speak about resilience, identity, relationships, immigration, healing, and the complex journey of becoming independent later in life. My work explores what it really means to start over, more than once, and how women can reclaim their voice, confidence, and sense of self after loss and major life transitions.
I love speaking on podcasts about my memoir, discussing personal growth, relationships, cultural identity, reinvention, and the courage it takes to rebuild a life from the ground up. I also would love to share my story to embrace resilience and self-love.
