Matthew Ronan likes telling good stories, helping others tell good stories, and most of all wants his life to be a good story. He is an artist, writer, and content producer who’s worked in film, television, and radio. His credits include projects for Disney/Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, and the Michael Jackson estate. He lives in San Francisco with his daughter Catica.

Having totaled his cars, lost his animation studio, lost his home, lost multiple children to miscarriage, and lost his wife in the course of just a few years, Matthew is no stranger to grief and loss. As a young widower at home in a pandemic with a 3 year old girl, he resurrected his late wife's dream and began painting a children's book she wrote 2 decades prior. He has experienced tremendous healing of the heart in the process of making art! While painting The Girl With 5 Hearts, (a story his wife providentially penned before they met,) he has experienced inner transformation. In this final love letter from his wife, a goodbye letter, he has found restored hope, healing, and joy.
