About Me

As Senior Manager of Global Employee Events and Conferences for Delta Air Lines, Marrah brings nearly 20 years of experience in the Event Planning and Management industry. Now as an executive strategist, her years of being an on-the-ground leader give her a 360° perspective. Through engaging and innovative strategies, she has cultivated customer brand relationships around the world, fortified employee retention, and nurtured lasting global communities of brand loyalists. Marrah’s prowess for producing large global events and scaling complex internal and external experiences by leveraging her depth of experience in budgeting, partnership building, and people leadership is known and regarded in the industry.

Since joining forces with Delta in 2022, Marrah’s penchant for mobilizing a vision and ability to orchestrate unforgettable experiences has completely transformed the events landscape. In the first quarter of 2023, she led the largest and most high-profile corporate event Mercedes-Benz Stadium has ever hosted. With over 4K attendees, 6K invited company leaders, and 450+ team members involved in production, it was an unmatched success. Despite accomplishing this – as well as several other large “first-ever” projects at Delta – Marrah maintains that she is “never attached to a project.” Instead, she is attached to purpose. In an environment where one third of employees are new, she is committed to building stronger employee experiences. To Marrah, “This is Delta” means delivering surprise and delight to employees enterprise wide.

Prior to her role at Delta, Marrah spent 12 years at Bank of America where she was promoted through several roles spanning Corporate Social Responsibility and business events. In 2018, Marrah was handpicked to develop and launch BofA’s first-to market loyalty benefit, focused on driving VIP relationships through one-of-a-kind experiential events. From 2019 to 2021, Marrah built the experience strategy for a loyalty program that has now impacted more than twenty-six million clients globally. Additionally in 2021, Marrah took on the role of Senior Vice President, Head of Enablement Strategy, Community Banking after collaborating with the executive team to define this new position.

With her commitment to education and tenure during the role, she launched the “Budget Game”— an innovative financial literacy program that empowered students to take control of financial health in a competitive and entertaining environment. The program was so successful in New Jersey that it has now been replicated and expanded into many markets such as Michigan, Ohio, and Texas. Furthermore, Marrah pioneered a virtual thought leadership program at Bank of America that delivered webinars by top-ranked industry leaders to over two thousand staff. In addition, Marrah served as an adjunct instructor at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC, and is currently an adjunct instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles.

As for her personal education, Marrah earned a Certified Consumer Loyalty credential from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Certificate in Meeting Management from Meeting Planners International. In addition, she is a Certified Special Events and Certified Meeting Professional. Although she now lives in Atlanta, Marrah is still an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She is also a proud English bulldog foster mom. When not in the office, she enjoys volunteering with the Georgia English Bulldog Rescue.

She is also a member and active thought leader for Chief, a private network designed for the most powerful women in executive leadership to strengthen their leadership, magnify their influence, and pave the way to bring others with them. Currently, Marrah is an Advisory Board Member at GigOut—the perfect app for the modern job seeker in creative roles. Recently, the company recently secured their first brand partnership with OYA, a Black female-founded company.
