Born in The Netherlands, she grew up in Belgium and is now based in England.
Ex-commercial & contracts Exec in Aerospace and telecoms with a background in journalism, theatre, performance and dance, Marianne’s eclectic food experience spans from Dutch Street Food and In ‘n Out pop-ups, a multi-award-winning food events company, a gastro-pub and a fine dining restaurant to Diner en Blanc in Paris & London.
Having become a walking-talking food encyclopaedia, Marianne set up her food blog The Dutch Foodie in 2016, before ditching corporate to become a solopreneur.
She has won global accolades for innovation in Dutch-Indonesian fusion cuisine and interactive virtual cooking experiences.
