Marco Stephano is an internationally trained, trauma-informed coach, Modern Sage, trusted thinking partner, and ally to leaders. With more than 35 years exploring human potential, relationship dynamics, and leadership, he has spent the last decade partnering with hundreds of growth-minded people and leaders from across genders, professions, industries, and cultures through periods of change and transition.
With Dutch heritage, Italian passion, and English influences—shaped by meaningful connections and travels across the UK, Canada, and the USA—Marco calls the City of London home.
A father, entrepreneur, speaker, writer, avid hiker, and reader, he enjoys music, art, design, storytelling, the great outdoors, and discovering quirky vintage spots for a good mocha. A former hammer thrower and lifelong conversationalist, he remains curious about people, their stories, and what becomes possible when we look at life from a different angle.

Most of us weren’t prepared for the life we got.
Across a lifetime, we experience dozens of disruptions and several defining lifequakes—moments that shake our identity, direction, and certainty, whether imposed or chosen.
Life doesn’t unfold in neat stages or predictable cycles. When disruption hits, we can stall, detour, derail, or regress—not because we lack capability, but because we lack Transitional Intelligence: the ability to navigate complexity, detach, respond, adapt, and reinvent when life shifts.
Without the right support, a major life disruption can take many years to process and integrate. We may find ourselves in the Darklands of transition—overwhelmed, anxious, fearful, confused, or lost, wondering, “Who am I beyond my history and the identities I’ve carried?” or “I should be further by now.”
