“Retired Principal | Artist | Creative Coach | Helping Women Stop Abandoning Their Creativity and Come Home to Art”
Most women don’t stop making art because they’re lazy or uncommitted. They stop because somewhere along the way, creativity got tied to worth. I know this because it happened to me.
I spent years believing my art had to prove something. Be useful. Be good. Be consistent. Life piled on responsibility, and the quiet part of me that loved making things learned to go silent instead of risk failing.
My work is about undoing that damage.
I help women stop abandoning their creativity when life gets messy. Not by pushing harder or fixing themselves, but by rebuilding safety, trust, and agency through mindset coaching, emotional regulation, and tiny art practices that actually fit real lives.
I bring a rare combination of depth and clarity: decades as an educator and leader, certification as a life coach, and years guiding women through perfectionism, burnout, and shame around creativity. I’m a strong guest for podcasts that want real conversations about creativity, identity, aging, emotional health, and what it actually takes to live a fuller life.
Listeners leave feeling seen, relieved, and ready to begin again.
It is for those of us who want an art practice that feels like a place we can come home to, one that supports us rather than asks us to perform. Here we talk about returning gently, showing up consistently, and making art without pressure or guilt.
