Hi my names is Lucy Wood, and I show people how to come back to themselves via the power of breath work.
I am also the founder and host of the Working Under Pleasure Podcast, which is one of the 25% most downloaded wellness shows in the world. My show interviews the change makers, who use their voice in the bedroom, and speak about how this has had a ripple effect throughout the rest of the lives. Because when we heal our body, we speak our truth, and that unlocks. a whole lot of pleasure!
One of my missions, and passions in this world is to help people come back into their bodies. Why? Because I had disordered eating for 22 years. From age 8- 30, I would go between starving, through to bingeing and purging. It was my 'little' secret. And It was my addiction. I have done countless speaking therapy, mindset, training, and healing entities. Yes it worked as a release by me, unleashing this secret I had kept for years, however by speaking about it, I then became obsessed, and gave the power of what I had been living in, more power just in a different way to me.
And so I found breathwork, the power of somatic body work. 20% of out trauma is stored in our brains, and 80% in our bodies. So I am so passionate to be able to talk, and help others to tap into their super power, their own bodies, and intuition, to heal from the inside out (sounds cheesy I know), and to banish co dependancy on outsourcing their decisions to other people.
