The pandemic grounded my aviation career. My husband was diagnosed heart failure and almost died. This was all within the same year.
At this stage I was 39, no degree and aviation was all I knew. I've been with my husband for 20 years and was not ready to lose him yet.
So to distract myself, my kids and I wrote, illustrated and published our family bedtime story.
It's been quite a journey! What went from an awful life changing year actually turned into the best time.
We spend nights collaborating at our dinner table, filming home made ads and even visiting schools!
We are only small but our kids and I love making kids laugh and smile with our books. It's better than dwelling on the past!
