Larry Davis

" I went from getting my door knocked on by a pastor, having 5 near death experiences, receiving my first invitation to attend church, feeling called to ministry, getting through and graduating Bible college, to losing everything. I wandered lost in the desert for more than 10 years, held a secular executive position in Los Angeles and did great but felt like I had nothing. My life made sense after I almost lost it in a life changing accident. Through recovery and meeting a God-sent wife, I gave myself a second chance through God's grace, embracing the Father’s arms again and turning my life around! I am a proud father of 6, stepdad to 1 autistic boy and currently adopting 2 special needs little girls. Life's roads are rocky, but mine took me all the way back home, to Him! Rev. Larry Davis

Larry Davis is a man of valor, vigilance and vision. When God looked down through time, He saw a child on whom His favor would rest and through whom His plan would be fulfilled. Larry has a tremendous passion for God that is coupled with a love for His word and His people. He has a contagious and charismatic spirit that flows through every facet of his personality. This man of God is a biblical preacher and his life testimony, from lost to saved - from disgrace to grace, is a true inspiration to everyone.

After receiving Christ as Savior in his 20s it was evident that God had His hand upon him! The Lord guided him to start attending services and later called him to serve through the ministry of preaching. After he declared this calling he preached his first sermon in Branson, MO. He went on to graduate from Hannibal LaGrange University with a bachelor's degree, majoring in Bible.

 Larry saw the fulfillment of Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." He actively served his congregations and saw the membership increase, the building free of debt and diligent teaching of the Word of God equipping many believers to become true disciples. He was strong in his encouragement and development of believers of all walks of life. His life in ministry was set with a great start. 

Throughout six intense years of college and ministry, Larry experiences many victories and like others, endured trials. Through each of these, he continued his efforts to serve and did his best at balancing church life and home life. His ministry suffered an unexpected halt and he chose a different path which led him to remain in the "wilderness" for over a decade. However, God still had plans for this man's life and in recent years has shown him the way back home. 

 Through faith, love, humility and God's grace, he has dedicated his life anew to the service and ministry of faithfully preaching and teaching the Bible and it's life changing message! He believes that only what is done in Christ will last. Larry Davis is a born again christian believer who is filled with the Holy Spirit! He is a Spirit-led pastor-preacher who finds his strength in the Lord. He believes in one Lord, one faith and one baptism. Jesus Christ and no other, is the feature, focus and function of his ministry. He is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ because he knows that it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes! He is adamant that life should be lived by faith through grace for God's glory!
