Aside from his passion for real estate, Kris works as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) that carries his patients safely though their surgical procedures every day. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013, he accepted a position on the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. As a critical care nurse, his daily responsibilities involved caring for patients immediately following open-heart surgery in their most acute phase of recovery. After 3 years, Kris went back to school to pursue his graduate education and in 2020, earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia.
Kris' journey into real estate started in 2020 when him and his wife Angela acquired their first rental property while still completing his last year of anesthesia school. Over the next 18 months, they built a $1.3M real estate portfolio and created over $180,000 in equity through capital improvements, increased rents, and improved efficiencies in property management.
Kris is also co-founder of Windy City REI: The official Chicagoland Affiliate of the GOB Network, a local real estate meetup whose mission is to help others achieve personal and financial growth through the power of real estate investing.
