About Me

Ken Tipton is the author of Lost Valley—Lost Innocence, a memoir about the three years he and his best friend were sexually exploited as child prostitutes through an international sex ring run through the Boy Scouts of America. His story explores grooming, institutional betrayal, organized abuse, the three murders he witnessed, and the lifelong cost of surviving what powerful adults tried to hide.

Ken is an Air Force veteran, SAG-AFTRA actor and voice-over artist, award-winning filmmaker, and serial entrepreneur. He also turned another controversial chapter of his life into the award-winning independent film Heart of the Beholder.

At 74, Ken speaks with candor, humor, perspective, and hard-earned resilience. He can discuss why male survivors remain silent, how grooming works, institutional accountability, delayed disclosure, trauma, recovery, faith, entrepreneurship, filmmaking, and reinvention. More than a guest promoting a book, Ken is an engaging storyteller who welcomes difficult questions and gives listeners a powerful conversation they will remember.
