I got hit by a car, true story.
One driver’s single moment of inattention and my life changed forever.
I endured an 11-day stay in ICU, undergoing multiple major surgeries just to stay alive.
I transitioned from complete incapacitation to the arduous journey of relearning to walk, and, almost miraculously, ride again. An immense journey of pain and loss and recovery whereby a lot has happened, but every step of the way there has been wins, big and small, including many learning experiences.
Do I let this define me, destroy me or strengthen me.
Time to turn HOPEless into HOPEful and let it strengthen me.
I'm now embarking on a new path, passionate about distilling the wisdom I've gained to not only educate but also inspire and empower others to reshape their narratives while holding onto hope.
My extensive background in leadership and talent management within multinational corporations unexpectedly led me on this profoundly transformative journey. It reignited my sense of purpose, compelling me to share my formidable expedition of physical and mental recovery, immense personal growth, along with my ongoing quest to redefine my identity.
Living with an incomplete Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and other injuries, I take pride in my decision to believe in "me." I undertook the arduous task of altering my mindset, transforming hopelessness into hopefulness, and I want others to know that they can do the same.
The hard things don't get easier, we just get stronger.
