I’m Katie Chambers, founder of Property Powwow, but my route here has been anything but straight.

My background has included insurance, community-based work, running Slimming World groups, social housing, property, networking and now building a digital education business. Looking back, the common thread has always been people — helping them understand things, feel more confident and make better decisions.

Property Powwow has grown out of all of that. It brings together property education, courses, networking, customer experience, community and AI, with a strong focus on making learning feel practical, accessible and less overwhelming.

I’m fascinated by how AI can help small businesses, improve education and make information easier to use, but I’m equally interested in where human judgement, trust and lived experience still matter most.

Living with MS has also shaped the way I work and the way I build. I’m interested in learning with disabilities, female health and lifestyle, self-development, confidence, sustainable entrepreneurship and finding ways to make business fit around real life rather than the other way round.

I’m also very happy talking about bootstrapping, DTC, customer experience, UI/UX, web development from a founder’s perspective, courses and online learning, property investing, house flipping, business, entrepreneurship and all the things I’ve learned while figuring it out as I go.

And I’m definitely not coming on a podcast pretending I’ve got everything cracked — I’m much more interested in sharing what I’ve learned, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and the conversations we don’t always hear enough of.
