Joanna Vervaat

I bring a story about facing fear and stepping into new possibilites. Through my chapter "The Ride of My Life" my years as an educator and my volunteer work with students and teachers in Ukraine, I've seen how connection - through stories, learning, and conversation can inspire people at every stage of life. I want to be a part of that!

What I can offer is this:

1. A compelling personal story. In the book The Embers We Carry I give readers a real story about fear and courage. Facing that fear and choosing growth. This makes a great conversation because listeners often see themselves in the story.
2. My experience as an educator brings decades of teaching experience which gives me credibility and insight about how people learn and grow and how encouragement changes lives. Educators bring wisdom and real-life examples that resonate with listeners.
3. A unique global perspective with my volunteer work with organizations such as Classrooms Without Walls and ENGin. Meaningful connections with young people and teachers learning and growing during wartime.
4. Inspiration for Women speaks to me a lot. Personal growth, women's empowerment, and life transition podcasts. Sharing our voices, trying something new and stepping into new opportunities. Sharing stories can be so motivating and inspirational.
5. Thoughtful conversations that bring engaging conversation, not just short answers. Connecting ideas, inspiring listeners, and reflecting deeply. Genuine and meaningful connections that matter.
6. A message that resonates is a simple yet powerful message. Through my teaching, writing, volunteering and connections across cultures my message is that fear doesn't have to stop us. It can leard us somewhere meaningful.
