About Me

I'm someone who found one problem worth spending a career on, and I'm still at it almost 35 years later. I'm the founder and CEO of Infowerks, a former computer engineering student who got hooked on healthcare data after building EMR software on a NeXT cube with a local doctor. I genuinely believe this unglamorous work matters, because the records we move belong to real people.

I'm a great fit for podcasts that explore healthcare technology, data interoperability, building a company in a niche industry, and what it actually takes to move patient information safely between systems that were never built to talk to each other.

Topics I can speak to include:

  • Why EHR and pharmacy data migrations fail: the avoidable mistakes I see again and again, and how to catch them early
  • The real cost of a failed migration: what goes wrong for clinics, pharmacies, and the patients behind the records
  • Healthcare interoperability in plain English: how data actually moves between providers, payors, and regulators
  • HIPAA and data security during a migration: protecting records when they're at their most vulnerable
  • AI in healthcare data: where it genuinely helps, and where the hype gets ahead of reality
  • Building Infowerks over 35 years: founding a company in a space nobody calls glamorous, and staying curious anyway

If your audience likes practical, honest conversations from someone who has actually done the work rather than just talked about it, I'd be glad to join you.
